What is a free and simply website builder?

Question by Rebecca: What is a free and simply website builder?
I am doing a simple school project where I have to build a website with some simple information on it.
It would be nice if I could have the main ideas on the main page and have each one be a hyperlink to take the user to the rest of the information on that subject.
I really just need to know of a simple site. I have tried a few and they were just too complicated for a simple project like this.
